Tribe is a remote design studio partnering with early-stage startups across SaaS, AI, and Web3. We specialize in branding, product design, and marketing websites that help founders move fast and build trust. Our team is small, focused, and collaborative. We care deeply about craft, clarity, and making sure the work we do actually ships.

What You'll Do‍

This is a hands on design role. You’ll be responsible for full projects — no passing things back and forth forever. You’ll take briefs, turn them into designs, and ship real work for real startups.

Here’s exactly what you’ll be designing:

• Full marketing websites in Figma (we’ll give you the structure, you make it real)
• Full Framer builds from your own designs (if you don’t know Framer, we’ll teach you)
• Branding: logos, typography, color palettes, brand guides, mockups
• Dashboards and internal tools — clean, smart UI that’s easy to use
• Social posts and marketing content: carousel templates, quote graphics, reels
• Animations using Jitter (this is optional but a strong plus)

You’ll sometimes help out with other projects or give feedback to teammates. Most of the time, though, you’ll lead your own work.

What You Need to Be Good At

We’re not looking for a junior. You need to be confident running with things and making smart decisions.

Must-haves (Hard skills):

• Strong UI design (spacing, layout, typography, alignment)
• Good at structuring websites: flow, hierarchy, clarity
• Branding and marketing assets experience
• Figma master — we live in it
• Utilize AI to speed up their work
• Comfortable using Loom to talk through your work
• English: good enough to explain your thinking, ask questions, and push back if needed
• Fast turnarounds without sacrificing quality

Soft skills (this is what makes you actually great):

• You take ownership and don’t wait to be told what to do
• You ask for clarity instead of guessing
• You work independently but know when to ask for help
• You’re reliable and stick to deadlines
• You give and receive feedback without ego or drama
• You care about doing great work, not just finishing tasks

Nice-to-haves:

• Framer (or willingness to learn fast)
• Webflow (we use it less but it’s a bonus)
• Branding experience (beyond just slapping a logo on a site)
• Motion design in Jitter or similar
• Experience working on Web3 or AI products

How We Work:

• Daily check-in on Slack or Loom (quick updates, not long calls)
• Tasks are managed in Trello — async by default
• You’re expected to be available and responsive from 8am to 12pm WIB
• Outside of that: flexible schedule, just get the work done
• We give feedback fast and expect the same from you
• You’ll be trusted to make decisions, not wait for approval every step
