The S-Quantum Engine is Sinarmas Financial Services' Digital Factory - focused on transforming one of Indonesia's largest financial services groups to match the increasingly digital demands of today's financial services sector.

This position reports to the Head of Product of the S-Quantum Engine. The division is responsible for identifying, managing, and executing digital-related initiatives for a collection of over fifty operating companies.

Specifically, the division shall:

Identify, seed, and grow digital-first businesses for Sinarmas Financial Services companies
Consolidate and transform digital channels of the existing portfolio of financial services products
Cultivate relevant companies and partners that accelerate the group's overall agenda
Establish organization-wide next-generation digital resources (infrastructure and talent)
Set the agenda for the group’s transformation to a digital and data-first company

The UX Designer owns how users interact with software. This position requires creativity, a deep understanding of user behavior, and experience with UX across various platforms.

Create engaging and commercially valuable experiences when interacting with software
Imagine many potential interaction paths and actions for a particular moment
Continuously seek and use data in choosing, testing, and refining the best interaction path and action
Communicate clearly how the interaction would work, look, and perform
Collaborate with the technical team in incorporating the interaction path into software and making sure it works
Proactively get feedback on your designs and how they can be improved
Advocate what’s best for the user as they engage with software
Work with customer support, User Research in prototyping and testing new interaction and visualization models
Review your work and identify how you can do better
Create interaction that feels like magic, especially for those who know how things should work. Stripe comes to mind.

🤹🏻 Skills

Having at least 8 years of similar experience with designers
Demonstrated ability to create user interfaces that positively change product success or business outcome, as shown via an online portfolio
Excellence in design craft and creating delightful experiences
Proficiency in designing interactions for multiple platforms and screen types
Commercial sense, deep understanding of customer decision-making process and how it can be influenced by interaction behavior.
Experience in evaluating designs through qualitative, quantitative, formal, and informal user research, either directly or in collaboration
Ability to conceptualize and develop interaction models iteratively and with an open-minded attitude
Highly proficient with design tools (Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and design research tools (Hotjar, UserTesting, SurveyMonkey).
Understanding front-end software development is a plus
